Terms of sale
These terms govern purchases made on this website by consumers, that is, people buying for purposes outside their trade or profession, under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005). Please read them before confirming an order: by confirming it you accept them. This is a translation; if the two versions differ, the Italian text prevails.

The products
We sell leather jackets, bags and accessories made in our Florence workshop. Each product page states the material, colours, sizes and price. Leather is a natural material: small differences in grain and tone and natural marks are normal and are not defects. Colours in the photos may vary slightly depending on your screen.
Prices
Prices are in euros and include VAT. The price shown when you confirm the order applies. Shipping costs depend on weight, size and address: you see them in the summary before paying. For deliveries outside the European Union, import duties and taxes are paid by the recipient and are not included in the price.
The order
- Choose the products and add them to your bag.
- At checkout, enter your delivery details, choose how to pay and check the summary, with the total price and shipping costs. Until then you can correct your details and change your bag.
- Confirm the order with the payment button, which means you are committed to pay.
The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email, which lists the products, the price and a link to these terms. We keep the contract: you can find it in that email and, if you sign in, in your account. You can conclude the contract in Italian or English. You must be 18 or over to buy.
If a product you ordered is no longer available, we tell you straight away and refund what you paid for it within 14 days.
Payment
You can pay with the methods shown at checkout (credit and debit cards and the others listed there), at no extra cost. Payment is handled by a specialist provider: we never see or store your full card details. The amount is charged when you confirm the order.
Shipping and delivery
We ship with DHL Express. Orders leave the workshop within 1 working day. Indicative delivery times:

When the parcel leaves you receive the tracking number. The risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. On delivery, check that the parcel is intact: if it is damaged, accept it with a written reservation on the courier’s document and write to us within a few days.
Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you, or a person you name other than the carrier, receive the products. If an order arrives in several deliveries, it starts from the last one. You can also withdraw before delivery. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your notice before it expires.
How to withdraw. You can withdraw:
- with the Withdraw from the contract function, on the Withdraw from the contract page, which you can also reach from Shipping & returns and from your account. Sign in with the email you used for the order (we send you a six-digit code), choose the order and the items and press Confirm withdrawal. The page shows the date and time of your withdrawal and we email you the confirmation straight away. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, you can cancel it from the same page;
- or with a clear statement sent to newdesignerflorence@gmail.com or by post to our registered office, using the form below if you like.
Returning the items. Send the products back, unworn and in their original packaging, to Italpak Leather New Designer S.a.s., Via Ghibellina 137, 50122 Florence (FI), Italy, within 14 days of the day you told us you were withdrawing. Return shipping is at your expense. You may try the products as you would in a shop; you are liable for any loss in value caused by handling them beyond that.
Refund. We refund what you paid, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method and at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we receive the products or proof that you have sent them.
Size exchange. For a different size, write to newdesignerflorence@gmail.com or call +39 055 527 8346 and we’ll explain how.
When withdrawal does not apply. By law (art. 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code) withdrawal is excluded for goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. For this reason bags with engraved initials and made-to-measure jackets cannot be returned. We remind you before you buy, on the bag’s product page and in the jacket’s quote. The legal guarantee still applies to these products.
Legal guarantee of conformity
We are liable for any lack of conformity that exists at delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of it (articles 128 and following of the Italian Consumer Code). If a product is defective you are entitled, free of charge, to have it repaired or replaced and, where the law provides, to a price reduction or to end the contract. To use the guarantee, write to us with the order number and a few photos of the defect. Claims are time-barred 26 months after delivery.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear, damage from misuse or poor storage, or the natural characteristics of leather described above.
Made-to-measure jackets
A request sent from the Bespoke page is not an order and commits you to nothing. We reply with a quote stating the price, making time and payment terms. The contract is concluded only when you accept the quote. A made-to-measure jacket cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (see above); the legal guarantee still applies.
Complaints and disputes
For any complaint, write to newdesignerflorence@gmail.com: we reply as soon as possible. You can also turn to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body under articles 141 and following of the Italian Consumer Code.
The contract is governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the place where you live or are domiciled.
Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
